Tell Me Something Good--Officer Lewis
Today’s everyday hero is police officer Sean Lewis of Portsmouth, VA. A few days before the 4th of July, Officer Lewis went jogging after work, along the waterfront on High Street in Portsmouth. Little did he know that he would be saving a life.
According to wavy.com, Officer Lewis noticed, “two legs go over the railing and a big splash.” Hearing the screams from the woman, with no time to think, he picked revved up his jogging pace into a sprint to save the woman. Jumping into the water, swimming passed jellyfish, Officer Lewis and another man were able to calm the woman down, scoop her up and hold onto a concrete ledge while waiting for help.
