Tell Me Something Good--CommonThreadz

I recently ran across an article about CommonThreadz, which is 501 (c)(3) nonprofit than builds and funds sustainable projects that help orphans and vulnerable children living in extreme poverty in Africa and other developing regions. Their programs employ a holistic approach that aids the children, as well as caretakers, emphasizing education as a basic foundation to break the cycle of poverty and create change.
Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Mentor Program, Orphanage and Health Clinic, Teacher Exchange Program, Volunteer Trips to Africa, T-shirt Campaigns, The Bracelets 4 Orphans Campaign and Retail Angel Campaigns are just a few mentionable programs and campaigns under the CommonThreadz umbrella.
What grabbed my attention about the article were the T-shirt collections, in particular The Orphan Collection; I am a T-shirt lover to the fullest. The tees are designed by orphans and are limited editions. Every purchase provides an orphan/vulnerable child with one month’s supply of food; 100% of proceeds go toward meals.
There are so many great organizations out here, it’s so hard to choose which to support, but this is one of my favorites by far. Check out the link for more information about CommonThreadz and their work.

@kavita, thx for your comment. yea, i'll be looking forward to getting your list. i can understand items being expensive, i don't buy too many tees for $38 US, but as you said, it's for a good cause.
